Cookie Policy

The core platform uses one first-party session cookie that is strictly necessary for authentication and security.

No tracking or advertising cookies

The core GMR platform does not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, behavioural advertising or third-party marketing cookies. Server-side AWStats may summarize access logs without placing a marketing cookie in the browser.

User control

Users can delete or block cookies in browser settings. Blocking GMRSESSID will prevent login, submission, review and other protected functions, but public journal pages and articles remain available. The policy and consent controls must be updated before optional analytics or marketing cookies are introduced.
